08.06.10 - HFMD report update

Daddy's Hp rang at 1.30am and woke poor mummy up , then it was like sitting on a floating boat for mummy till she wake up at 6am again with not much sleep.

I woke up early enough today to plant a kiss on mummy's face and a hugh hug before she left for work today. :)

When we reach school today , 2 of my friends were sent home because they had signs of HFMD . :( Daddy was getting really worried and ask mummy to call teacher Emily and see if we should stop going to school for a while ....

Teacher Emily says she is keeping a look out on the signs on the kids and has so far sent them home before entering school but one of the case reported , the child was there on PTM last saturday! :(

By night time , the email shows that there is 7 reported cases .... 1 in N1 , K1 and K2 and my class has 4 confirmed cases! So mummy decides that we will take wednesday to friday off and monitor the situation first before returning back to school! :(

The school has also stop all water play , gym classes and piano classes for the time being and they will also wipe all toys and play area after used , they will also be cleaning the whole school on friday evening. They are also doing more strict checks onthe kids before letting them enter the school.

Parents should do their part to make sure not to sent their sick kids to school as well!

Hopefully the numbers will decrease soon!
