26.03.08 - Keith In Hospital! :(

Kor Kor Keith has fever as high as 39.3 degree on wed morning and so mummy and daddy hurried to change and bring him to kk children and woman hospital. Mummy called ah Gong and he drove them there.

At the hospital , doctors saw kor kor and put him on the inhale pumps 3 times to reduce his breathlessness ... It still did not return to normal , so the doctors suggest kor kor goes for a chest x-ray ...

The results shows that there are some shawdows indicting there are alot of phegms stuck there ... and doctors has to suggest a hospital stay for him.

Mummy and Daddy was at the hospital since 4am in the morning , after checking in to the ward , daddy slept and rest his eyes for a while and left for work at 9am .

Mummy had to comfort kor kor as he was still feeling sick and weak , crying non stop.




1. kor kor can hardly stay on the bed , it has been carrying and more carrying.
2. Lying down on the bed for a little while means kor kor is super tired.
3. Angry kor kor says with the name tag , he is no longer a handsome boy.
4. His enjoyment time is playing outside of his ward at the tv and playing area.

Doctors came to explain that kor kor is having acute bronchitis ...

Bronchitis is an inflammation of the large bronchi (medium-size airways) in the lungs. It can lead to pneumonia. Acute bronchitis is usually caused by viruses or bacteria and may last several days or weeks.[1] Acute bronchitis is characterized by cough and sputum (phlegm) production and symptoms related to the obstruction of the airways by the inflamed airways and the phlegm, such as shortness of breath and wheezing. Diagnosis is by clinical examination and sometimes microbiological examination of the phlegm. Treatment may be with antibiotics (if a bacterial infection is suspected), bronchodilators (to relieve breathlessness) and other treatments.


First he was put on hourly inhaler ...

then in the evening , he was reduced to two hourly.
and the 2nd day , it became 3 hourly! we are almost ready to go home!

Kor kor was so bored and upset to stay in bed , so mummy brought him to the play centre on the 8th floor of the children tower in kk hospital. At first kor kor was shy and didn't want to play with anything then a while later , after warming up , he started playing ! :)

2nd day at the hospital kor kor is much better already , his lungs sounds much better and he is wheezing much lesser. Doctore says she will review him at 4pm and if we really wanna go home , she will allow us as long as mummy knows how to use the inhaler pump.

At 5.15pm , we are all ready to go , took all the medicine and receipts , kor kor and mummy took a cab back to ah ma 's house. after food kor kor was being difficult so mummy brought him to the playground for a while.



kor kor is almost back to his active self , we had to go home early coz it was raining just now and the playground was wet , mummy say we can come again tomorrow! :)



When we reached home , kor kor watched Mr bean and mummy was updating our blog , when kor kor say , mummy see the sky , orange colour , so nice! :) mummy took a few picture of it ! :)



Look at me playing myself , hehe kor kor thank god you are back. I miss u and mummy for 2 days! :)
