A Happy Family! :)

Everyone and everyone is sooooooo busy today .**ur Da yi is getting married today** ...mum woke u up at 5.30am to go over to grandma's. U were all dress and very handsome i must say... in ur jumper, u are adorable.U got a little attention diverted from da yi to u but just a little....heeheee.U got lots of BIG angpaos from all ur aunties. The two very big ones are from Great grandma and mummy's godma... something for u to open a bank with...U hardly slept with all the commotion around u but u manage to get alittle sleep here and there....In the night, u wore ur jeans and jacket for the first time since mummy bought it close to 2 months again but i must say (U really look Good)

04.02.06 - meeting new people

Today when i saw u, i am so happy...I gave u all the hugs and kisses i could give to u...I miss u soooooooo much.

U look good and has even put on some weight.Ur rash is almost gone and da yi, xiao yi and ah ma.... do a real good job in looking after u...

I am so happy!Today u meet for the first time, ur granddad's family.

Great grandma... 4 great aunties, mummy's godma , godpa, god brother and his gf and friend....

There are so many people in the house, and u were so excited.... they will be here for 2 to 3 weeks, I know u will like them.

24.01.06 - Growing Well

Baby keith is growing very well , as doctor and nurses say when he went for his jab....he looks healthy and happy...although after giving him the jab, he cry and cry ... heehee (who wouldn't)He is a healthy 6.5kg. he is learning everything very fast and he is getting naughtier and nayghtier.... he loves to put things into his mouth, pulling his mummy's hair, pulling things near him and then putting into his mouth.... wonder if he is growing teeth yet? i hope not so soon lar . coz then there will be more sleepless nights for mummy and baby coz he would be running fever or crying in pain....he is growing and getting cuter every single day.I love him so much when he smiles at me, like telling me **mummy, i know u! u are here to bring me home!!**

23.01.06 - Roll over

Today after trying upteen times , baby keith finally rolled over on his own....He seems so expert in doing it, he roll to his side , lift his head alittle and push himself over....WOw ! my strong boy is experiencing , exploring and learning new things.he is also beginning to grap , pull and push things and putting everything he can reach into his mouth....

21.01.06 - Solid Food!

HMMMM.... little keith is finally official allowed to try out new food , other than his usual milk formula. He tried
3 teaspoon of apple juice ,
a lick of mummy's pear...
soon he will be eating a little bit of cereal... trying to introduces new things bit by bit, fearing that he will not wanna drink his milk after he found out there are so many more new stuff to eat and are much more delicious than his milk!

19.01.06 - Things babies doesn't always do.

1. U stand up with help and love doing that,
2. u dislike pacifire,
3. u stetch like a big kid,
4. u cover ur eyes with both hands when there is light
5. cover ur ears when it's too noisy...
6. u pull mummy's hair at 3 months.
7. he speaks to u with his baby languages and thinking that u must understand what he is talking about, although they don't make much senses to me... he is rather talkative for his age.

04.01.06 - woooooooo, ahhhhhhh , eeeeeeeee

bit by bit he is growing and learning..
1. he will answer u when u talk to him with "ahhhhhh" , "wooooo" , "booooo"
2. he is learning to roll over ....
3. he smiles and laugh when i play with him ...
4. he loves the tv....and can really glue his eyes to the tv especially when vincent and i are watching dvds on our off days.
As he grows :
1. he hates to be left alone,
2. he doesn't like to be put in the stroller anymore ,
3. he can't keep still when it comes to drinking milk,
4. he sucks his fingers,
5. he love to be cuddled and talked to..
i read more to him now and spent more time playing with him b4 bedtime.... He makes me feel so happy whenever i see him and makes anything and everything worthwhile.... i don't care if i have to work harder just to give him more toys, more new clothes.... heehee i guess all mummies feels this way.

Now u are trying to turn on the sides....Grandma says u are like a clock and u can turn from side to side already and u are also beginning to be able to push urself up till the top of the bed....**so afraid u might fall....U can also turn ur head and look for mummy... and turn to noises when we talk already...**U are a very smart baby i must say!**

11.12.05 - Bathing with my baby float! :) /02.12.05 - First Swim

Keith Loves the water and his new float makes him so happy at bath time nOw. He kicks in the water and looks so cute! :)

First swim.... it's rather funny really.When i knew we are going for a Chalet and will be staying over with baby keith... i went to the mall to get him his swimming costume....A little big for him but he look sooooooo cute. I bought a neck float for him too and fully equipped, we try to put him slowly into the pool.

He was afraid at first but he was kicking and moving his hands in no time.... and when everyone was looking at his cute face...(He Fell asleep) in the middle of the pool.... and had no choice but end his swim early...heeeheeeBut it was fun... quickly i bath him and put on warm warm clothings for him and he fell asleep... tiring experience for him i Guess!

30.11.05 - Sleepless night

now he smiles all the time when i talk to him and he will look for me when i am not around.... he look around the house alot and when it's time for him to go home and i am not around to pick him up, he cries and do not wanna go to sleep...i didn't bring him home yeaterday as i was alittle tired and he slept at 2.30 am and woke up at 4am, 6am and 8am for milk.... wow so tiring! He can really be a troublesome baby you know... Luckily i have grandma here to help me....

20.11.05 - First Smile!

hmmmm it was so sweet...u seem to smile at mummy once, but i can't confirm**I saw ur dimples, oh so cute.... **Grandma then saw ur wonderful smile and then slowly everyone was talking about ur smile... And ever since ur smile warms my heart, ease my pains, aches and cure all my headaches.

21.10.05 - Keith's First month

Today bb keith went back to his own house for the first time....i bought him around the house, looking at his future room which daddy had just install a new cupboard and put on a new paint to welcome his beloved bb...he also saw his parent's room, which i think he will be sleeping there till he is three? hmmm anyway,anytime when he is ready.

We are all still doing some last minute cleaning for tonight's celebration....

tidying up here and there....

getting all ready and waiting for the arrival of the guests.
between all those things we have to do, we escape for a while...

First Haircuthmmm... baby oh baby, u slept thou ur first haircut at the barber... he shave ur hair and eyebrow but u keep still and slept so well u didn't even bother... mummy carried ur and i myself was alittle afraid he might cut u but the barber, i must say was very experience... so lucky u, ur haircut was a painless and short one.... and everyone said u look great on ur 1 month celebration party.

everyone slowly arrival in groups @ 6pm.... there were big and small gifts for baby, many generous Ang baos. everyone had a good meal... we had a great time and there were cameras everywhere taking shots after shots of baby...

**must had felt like a superstar!**

Too bad baby keith had a really bad rash outbreak, his face was all red and swollen...everyone was telling mummy what to do and what to try.. all the creams and solutions... we will give all a try , try, try!

12.10.05 - New Discovery

Today i found out something new about you...** YOU LOVES MUSIC **and you can sleep better when there is music or when i sing you to sleep...Unlike other babies which i always see, you are not the kind that i have to shhhhhhhhhhhhhh at people when u are sleeping as you can sleep even with loud backgrounds...You are quite a sound sleeper.**I think i owe it to all my pregant mahjong sessions!**

05.10.05 - Advise from the older generations.

Your eyes looked yellow today and so we bought you to the doctor at the polyclinic...
the doctor said that we are to give you sunbathe...
you have to put u under sunlight before noon
to cover your eyes with a little cloth as your eyes are still very sensitive...
At the clinic , we also heard all sorts of ways from the older aunties and uncles that will help to cure you...

Uncle 1 : buy sugercane water and feed him 2 mouth full.
Auntie 2 : buy herbs from chinese medicine store...
Auntie 3 : buy yellow powder for baby to bath in it...
There are so many things to hear and everyone has their own secret receipt. And seems like this is a common disease... Jondisc i think it's called .

After we go home, mummy ask jess to buy sugarcane water and dad bought 2 packets of things back and say one is to boil for baby to drink and the other is for him to bath...
WOW! so fast Action ah!!!! heehee... it's always good to have them around.

30.09.05 - Crying for a reason!

You are the cutest baby and so good so far...you don't really cry, you mostly cry for a reason or the other. You cry whenever you are hungry,cold or sleepy....You sleep most of the time which ah ma says it's normal. babies spent most of the time sleeping for the first two months and then they starts to play more and sleep less.Grandma ask me to enjoy the time when you sleeps alot, coz when you don't mummy will start to worry and lost as much sleep and even more ... 3 months later, mummy will start work soon!

Baby's first few breast feeding sessions with mummy was a difficult one.... Only on the 3rd did mummy get professional help from a nurse.You are a very intelligent boy... The nurse was telling you " good boy, clever boy...show us again that you can do it, show us how clever you are and you did it over and over again. but after all those inexperience and unsuccessful tries it was already swollen and painful.... leaving mummy with no choice but give in to bottled milk for u....Your swelling and wrinkles has cleared and u are clearly a much handsome boy and now to me ,U ARE REALLY THE MOST WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL THING that happened to me!

Baby Keith/Darren looked wrinkled and slightly blotchy. There were also patches of dry skin...His head was alittle dent and looks swollen ,slightly odd shape but Doctor Lim explains that it was because of the pressure that was put on it during birth. His features appeared flattened because of being squeezed through the pelvis...Baby Keith/Darren has little thin hairs on his head...there are like light brown in colour.He has big eyes which are not black too...He is a small baby as he was 3 weeks early... weighing only 2.7kg. He has big feets, as big as granny's fingers!!

YEAR 2005 21st SEPTEMBER - BABY WAS BORN!

Baby Keith / Darren ... we have yet decide on your name. Mummy prefers Keith and Daddy likes the name Darren...Mummy and Daddy are both excited to see you as we have seen u grow for the pass few months and we can also see little movements from u... mummy can feel ur naughty kicks and punches now and then.

Yesterday when mummy's waterbag burst,daddy panic and was walking around the house like as thou he wasn't sure what to do next.All he could say was..." deardear go wash ur hair and get ready...becareful ok" then he called Imran uncle and he rush down to pick us to Thomson medicial where u make mum and dad waited for a long 24 hours.

Mummy was determine to have a natural birth and feel every inch of u... so mummy said NO to epidural!After 24 hours...and 3 pushes, there we are ! A proud and happy mum with her baby Boy.

ok , every doctors and nurses tell mummy that every parent when they first see their baby , they will say the baby is the most beautiful person on earth.

But it didn't happen this way for us.Baby Keith/Darren... heehee was wrinkled and reddish in colour... tiny little baby has patches of dry skin and alittle swollen... He wasn't as cute as i thot he will be...

But i still cuddle my little baby and we were pushed into the ward to rest after 24 hours of long wait and labour.
